Susan M. Borris began writing in middle school and is dedicated. She attended Elgin Community College and the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater after graduating high school in 1973. After helping a friend after college, Susan loved stories. She escaped into her worlds through writing because of her childhood. Susan wrote briefly for her school newspaper but realized she should write fiction. Her first book, Lost Identity, launched her career despite requiring professional editing. Susan often draws stories from her characters, writing emotionally, realistically, and intensely. Her escape is writing, which is therapeutic and fun. Susan avoids reading while writing to stay creative, influenced by many authors.
